@regediT: I was laughing about the "pre-puberty" comment because in this ONE case the girl happens to be 17 = seems funny to me...
It doesn't "make it OK" to objectify females in such a non-realistic way, but that's what sells in Japan.
I get real tired of it too! I've complained about things like this since the 80's!~ Long before I found Anime.
Of course this sort of "distortion to show the ideal form" has been going on since ancient Greece, eh?
My personal favorite catgirl has 'normal' proportions & bust with realistic arms and legs. That's because she was created in the early 90's. 20 years makes a huge difference in what gets marketed...
