Are you really old enough to remember when they played music videos?
Back then my father-in-law had one of those giant TV satellite dishes, and it could pick up Much Music out of Canada. It was, IMO, much better than MTV.
But Money for Nothing by Dire Straits was and still is the best music video ever made. |

I grew up thinking halloween was about dressing up as something scary. Now it's just young girls in tartan micro-skirts and very tight tops.
I like it.

This has nothing to do with All Hallow's Eve. It's just what lowest common denominator Halloween has become in the hands of the general populous. Which means it's a dress-up event. No reason to get more technical because the general populous isn't looking for more depth. They want a dress-up party. And we'll give it to them. |
