I wonder if the topic explanation, "Military strength is simply not a function of how much you spend." is true. Would the same logic apply to Schools? |

Sounds good to begin with, but it does not help you in any way when your country starts falling behind technology and financial wise..

Really... you can throw all the money you want at failing school systems and they still fail. How do I know? Because we've been doing that for years. Same holds true for just about everything else, poverty, drugs, the stimulus, green energy, you name it. I'd rather be more than prepared to defend ourselves because their are a lot of nutbags out there across the world. |

or how the more money they spend on weapons to kill random people in other countries, it has less money to spend on things that the electorate vote it in for... like i dont know, free heatlthcare or support for the elderly. you know the kind of stuff that really matters to our lives. |

Education is not simply a function of how much you spend. This can and should be applied to a lot of things today. Money solves everything, right guys? Wrong.

Draculya. No. Those countries wouldn't be able to hit the United States. North Korea's missiles are barely even functional. We fear they would bomb Korea or Japan, democratic nations that are our allies. |

100% wrong. How does iran make the US its "bitch". Simple really. Russia and CHina are very close allies of Iran.
And 99% of US politicians/military strategists know that if the US attacked iran, a day later, there would be no more US.
