Thursday, October 25, 2012 4:00:37 PM beternal, you seem to have missed the beginning of part 1. He stuffed his garage door edges with a blanket and sat in the car with his hand on the key in the ignition. His problem isn't self esteem. Being all the things you've described, he made this so other people might be inclined to, at least, talk to a doctor.

Wednesday, October 24, 2012 3:05:11 PM @beternal You're a mean person for hating on people with mental problems, and you clearly have no idea what depression is. It's not the same thing as being sad. Kill yourself you non-nice individual. |

Wednesday, October 24, 2012 2:12:31 PM Wait what?! - there are people defending him?! I could pull the *there are people starving in the Sudan* card but I won't... I will rely on just common sense. The guy has everything! He's rich, influential, smart, loved... and for some reason he is depressed?! You want me to feel sorry for someone that just has a bit of low self esteem?! What about all those handicapped people, people on the dole, people who are ugly and are shunned, those people that couldn't learn the 3 times table if their life depended on it, those people that genuinely do not have friends and can't find anyone that loves them?! I am simply saying Stephen fry is right at the bottom of my pity list... right down there with those girls that are absolutely gorgeous, get hit on by hundreds of men daily and yet cry in the mirror because their nose is a little bit bigger than they desire. |

Wednesday, October 24, 2012 4:32:21 AM @fancylad Thanks for helping to raise awareness with your post I was diagnosed as being bipolar a few months ago. From what I've been told it's gone undiagnosed for many years. I count myself fortunate that I don't experience the extreme's of the disorder (visual or auditory hallucinations, etc).

Wednesday, October 24, 2012 2:58:15 AM Amazing how someone as beloved as him could drown in self doubt. Feel so alone when so many want his company. He is smart enough to save himself we hope.

Wednesday, October 24, 2012 2:53:58 AM I'd be depressed if I was a millionnaire actor, screenwriter, author, playwright, journalist, poet, comedian, television presenter, film director and a director of Norwich City Football Club that graduated from Cambridge... Hard life, I pity the guy... |
