So what if they get crappy mileage, are slow, have no heat, AC or other creature comforts like modern vans do...and smell like hippies

VV Driving a classic VW Van is GREAT!!
You sit high up, they're super-easy to park! They go putt-putt!
Every VW Van driver I've ever seen has a big smile on their face, it's a fact! I drove one for a few years and loved it.
So what if they get crappy mileage, are slow, have no heat, AC or other creature comforts like modern vans do... they're FUN to drive!
