Wednesday, October 17, 2012 2:15:36 PM If you are wondering about the cost of a tattoo, ask an expert... Color has absolutely nothing to do with the cost of a tattoo whodat6484. I am a professional tattoo artist and I can tell you, the TIME involved is what determines the cost of a tattoo. This particular tattoo looks to me like it would take approximately 5 to 5 1/2 hours at a cost of $150 per hour.... Making it a $750 to $825 tat. So yes, I think the $650 estimate is a little on the low side |

Wednesday, October 17, 2012 12:52:17 PM No, $650 sounds about right. It's all black ink & shading. If it was colored I'm sure it would cost way more than $650. |

Wednesday, October 17, 2012 11:51:20 AM Couldn't pay me to get a tattoo, even one as nice as the one on the left. The guy on the right should be contacting a lawyer, that ink was criminal. |

Wednesday, October 17, 2012 8:42:52 AM There's a third picture that should be seen along side these two. The 5$ haggerd old tattoo that someone got at 15 in their basement. It might be a lion? |

Wednesday, October 17, 2012 8:10:12 AM £300 at Lal Hardy's New Wave Tattoo shop, at the time among the top 5 Tattooists in the UK. Or I could have gone Camdem and got it for £50 and been worried how sterile the equipment was. Even if you disagree about having to pay more to get higher quality with something this permanent do you really want to take the risk? I mean it's not that hard to see their past work and find reviews now days. |

Wednesday, October 17, 2012 8:09:06 AM I got a cheap tattoo. Luckily I'm not nearly naïve enough to get something as complicated as a lion. I got a simple symbol which only a real idiot could screw up. I'm Also not silly enough to go to someone who doesn't have proper credentials. |
