Wednesday, October 17, 2012 3:44:27 PM Not just for voting state offices mind you, it would be a way for choosing the Electors for Office of the POTUS. |

Wednesday, October 17, 2012 3:40:19 PM would love if we switched to the Alternative Vote Sounds like a system that would best work at the state level. |

Wednesday, October 17, 2012 2:33:30 PM The only good thing about it is that it allows us to see who won early by who gets the Eastern Swing states, specifically Florida and Ohio. Wednesday, October 17, 2012 1:03:31 PM If Romney wins the popular vote but Obama wins the election are we finally going to get rid of the Electoral College? |

Wednesday, October 17, 2012 12:47:00 PM Crakr, you have to wait for the polls to be taken today to really see the effects of the debate that took place last night. |

Wednesday, October 17, 2012 12:45:21 PM "Frankly, the only polls that matter at this point are the swing states." So true. Romney leads in Florida, North Carolina and Colorado. Even if he wins those three swing states and the next two that Obama has a slight lead in (Virginia & New Hampshire) he still would lose 261 to Obama's 285. But if Romney gets Ohio which Obama has had a lead in the whole time then Romney could win. It's really all about who gets Ohio. |

Wednesday, October 17, 2012 12:26:48 PM markust: Are you trying to say that Gallup ends it's polling before 8pm? So yesterday doesn't count? Would it have counted, for you, if Obama was in the lead? Hmmm. |

Wednesday, October 17, 2012 12:20:16 PM markust: Only 9 states are 'Likely Obama' in the RCP map. Romney has 13 'Likely' states and the states you mentioned by name are still considered 'toss up'. Overall only 10 electoral votes separate them, unless you're conceding Florida which would give Romney the lead 220 to 201. |

Wednesday, October 17, 2012 12:15:31 PM "Will you admit you're wrong when tomorrow's numbers come out in favor of Romney?" You are seriously insane. I was challenging your statement that today's polls show a bounce for Romney from the debate. You were clearly wrong since the numbers from yesterday (that were released today) were taken before the debate was over. I can't do it anymore. I'm done with you. You're not worth the time or aggravation. |

Wednesday, October 17, 2012 12:12:21 PM Markust "You seriously are the most frustrating person I have ever encountered. I have zero respect for people that can't admit they are wrong." Don't waste your time. I had him with hard department of labor statistics that proved he was wrong and he responded by saying that he wasn't wrong because he remembered seeing something different on TV 30 years ago. He's a joke on here. Everyone knows it, even the conservatives that agree with him. Just ignore him. |

Wednesday, October 17, 2012 12:06:08 PM Madest: After further reading, it was 8 forms, all were turned in and all 8 people will be able to vote. Geib said, "The guidance I received from them was, yes, that they did meet the deadline. They were delivered to our office, and so they are going to be able to vote in the November election." - NBC29.com Why couldn't you have linked to the actual news story instead of a blog madest? Oh that's right, because the blog said the forms were 'destroyed', which was a total lie. |
