Wednesday, October 17, 2012 9:36:43 PM The police protocol of dominate and control is in and of itself Fascist. This is attractive to the type of people that become cops. It allows them to vent and express their violence onto others in a plauseable and deniable way. In this way they can perpetrate and yet still be considered a "hero". (Psychological profile). |

Wednesday, October 17, 2012 6:55:10 PM I agree with Forplay - it was resisting arrest. As to him being there legally or not, there is no way to tell since there is no audio to know what the conversation was. However, this was an overly excessive use of force. Like that naked college kid that got shot and died, the cops could have (and should have) used a taser or pepper spray on him. Physical beating should only occur if the suspect takes it to that level. |

Wednesday, October 17, 2012 11:35:21 AM @indisguise If you had permission to sleep someplace and some cops showed up and tried to arrest you, you'd just say "okey dokey, take me away"? I really doubt it. Cops are not perfect people and they aren't always right. This was abuse, plain and simple. ----------- That's what the courts are for. There was no abuse here, plain and simple. Once they place you under arrest, you comply, period. If you fight, you get beat. You work it all out afterward, using the courts if needed. That's the beauty of our system. I hope next time you run into the cops they beat the snot out of you after you don't comply |

Wednesday, October 17, 2012 10:06:53 AM 1. that cop look like Al Bundy. 2. why are they all so fat? 3. way overboard, not trying to pacify just beat the crap out of the guy who is half his size. Or better said, half his weight. In this case, I'm not on the side of those cops. Was way, WAY out of proportion. |

Wednesday, October 17, 2012 9:23:59 AM He was resisting arrest. But he may have been there legally, if that was the case I would also. He pulled up he's pants after he was shoved and they slid down. And he do not put up he's hand till the cop tried to go golden gloves on him, and then tried to relax till he was hit in the jaw. I cop was using him as a punching bag and not trying to use a Submission Hold on him. Bad cop or poorly trained take your pick. The male police officer Escalate it and was not trying to disarm the situation. |

Wednesday, October 17, 2012 9:03:44 AM That's no reason to use the guy as a punch bag That's still no reason to keep resisting after you've been outmatched. why was that female officer trying to stick her nightstick up his @ss? When did this happen? |

Wednesday, October 17, 2012 6:14:56 AM (well, at least it was until you killed all those Native American Braves....if only they'd done what they were told they'd no doubt have been fine, eh?) ROFL!!! Ya they started being killed right after we declared independence there was no French and Indian War. Now tell me how you like to pay taxes to a royal family that got it's fortune through generations of genocide on multiple cultures.... |

Wednesday, October 17, 2012 6:02:04 AM I'd also recommend you don't wiggle away from an officer and enter a boxing stance. They'll see that as a threat and beat the crap out of you until you stop. |

Wednesday, October 17, 2012 5:58:31 AM @MacThunderKhunt What are your thoughts on being the most surveillanced country on the planet? Or are you that brainwashed? Funny how you think police over there don't beat the crap out of people facts show otherwise.

Yeah, he was resisting, but aren't the cops supposed to be trained in how to deal with that using "minimal" force? It looked more like they were enjoying the brawl. Sadly, many high school bullies choose law enforcement as a career. Even more sad is that they pass the psych screening. |

Wednesday, October 17, 2012 12:03:40 AM this guy has the classic 'israeli-just-out-of-the-army-look' if that is the case then his 'aggressive' body language could be an israeli being an israeli. they are always very animated when they talk, more so than italians. |

Tuesday, October 16, 2012 11:13:42 PM Guys: 1:22. Fists up. Pulls pants up to gain range of motion. READY TO FIGHT! You do not do this against a cop, EVER! If he is detaining you unlawfully, allow it, and SUE THEM! YOU WILL WIN! |

Tuesday, October 16, 2012 9:50:13 PM It may have been a bit over the top, but the guy clearly was resisting. Just remember, folks, cops aren't paid to fight fair; they're paid to win. |

Tuesday, October 16, 2012 8:00:15 PM Thanks for that link trippyhippy. I'm in agreement with MacGuffin and piperfawn on this one. @ Lebowski, Auburnjunky, Reciprocity, RobSwindol and CaptKangaroo - Of course the man was agitated! He had permission to be there and (although we don't have audio) was likely trying to tell the cops that. As such, they had no business trying to haul him off to jail - he hadn't done anything wrong. A simple phone call to the property owner could have confirmed that. Why should he have allowed them to arrest him? If you had permission to sleep someplace and some cops showed up and tried to arrest you, you'd just say "okey dokey, take me away"? I really doubt it. Cops are not perfect people and they aren't always right. This was abuse, plain and simple. |

Tuesday, October 16, 2012 7:58:10 PM Wow, MacGuffin I had no idea they were taking him away to be gassed in a gas chamber! I thought they were arresting him for trespassing. You are so right, he should have fought harder than he did to prove your point! |

Tuesday, October 16, 2012 5:26:13 PM It's impossible to know the full story here, but I would not consider that police brutality. The subjects body language was confrontational and he repeatedly extended his arms towards the officers and the other citizen. As the subject became clearly increasingly agitated the non-officer retreated indicated he did not feel safe. The officer used neutral body language and calming hand gestures. AFTER his partner attempted to place the subject under arrest the officer put up his hands and the subject did not back down. The officer did his job period. |
