chicago, you're being to general about it, sure there are plenty of natural things on this earth that are harmful to you. Hard drugs however have to go through a chemical process to make them the drugs they are. However if you wanted to smoke some weed, you could take it right off the plant and smoke it. Of course this wouldnt be very good for smoking because it hasnt dried. Civilizations all over the world have also used thc extracts for medicinal purposes for thousands of years. Ancient egyptians, greeks, romans etc used the extracted oils for menstrual cramps. Not all natural things are good for you, and not all man made things are good, I mean think of the medicine big pharma puts out. Half of them carry warnings of death and other serious complications, just because a guy in a lab coat made it, then its ok for me, just because some doctor said its good, that means its good? There are many problems with drug studies (another good post to read) |

Christians who dont smoke weed (and believe me there are those that do). we'll say fundamental christians, however will say it is just a temptation by god to see if you are truly good or something along those lines. I do say bs to that because we naturally produce canabanoids in our brain anyway. So if it was one single god who created us then he programed us to have this ability to produce canabanoids. When your neurons are firing off in your brain they typically take a break after sending a message, tetra hydra carbonol keeps these neurons going and doesnt let them rest. @chalket, your logic is silly. Cyanide is natural but not very good for you. Lava is natural etc... As far as laws, the human body is pretty natural but there are laws about even showing it. So, in summary, "natural" has nothing to do with legal or good for you-ness. |

Nothing wrong here, just a fine woman and a natural herb. The fact that this picture could be illegal is so pucked up on many levels.
Marijuana is one of the very few "drugs" that is totally natural. Just grow it, dry it, and smoke it. No "cooking" or processing or anything. The epitome of "all-natural." For those lawmakers who profess a belief in God, how can they deny that this plant is just as God gave it to us? I can sort of understand their fear and persecution of heroin or cocaine or other man-made drugs, but pot is solely God's handiwork. Do lawmakers think God made a mistake? Pot should be legal, period. |
