ferdyfred: They aren't 'hooker boots'. They are thigh-high waders made for fishing. They also make chest-high waders for the same purpose. This way your pant legs, socks and shoes don't get wet while fishing along the banks.
It's evident you've not done a lot of fishing. many lake and river banks are steep and slippery, it's better to wear a pair of these than get all muddy, they offer better footing too. |
