@Bakcagain21 yes the results from the Cheshire study were extrapolated for the rest of the UK and also includes some data from the Transport from London.
As I cant find any data about other nations and how many cctv cameras are in use there I dont see how your claim can be verified.

That's in Cheshire what about somewhere like London. With cameras getting cheaper and better in quality. I stand by my assertion we are one of the most watched nations on the planet. |

It makes a good point and I like it, but I have to wonder why all political satire is instantly attributed to Banksy. If you've ever seen a single Banksy piece you know it looks nothing like this. |

the notion that we in the Uk are the most observed nation despite being debunked persists.
A recent study put the figure which was previously grossly over estimated at 4.2 million cctv cameras has revised that figure to 1.85 million of which only 145,000 are public the rest are on private property. |

Banksy is a sell out. Do you know how much money his given to Labour. You don't stand for anti establishment and civil rights. Then go and give money to a government which oversaw the uk becoming the most CCTV'd nation and wanted to introduce ID cards (fun fact only the opposition he'd have had to get it through the House of lords stopped that, same with no evidence detention gor terror suspects HofL got it from 92 days down to 14) |
