Monday, October 15, 2012 6:30:10 AM @mykunter: Oh, I know the things the photographer has to put up with, my sister-in-law does many weddings. Thus, I know how hard it can be and I also know when the photographer is indeed a moron. Also we went to a nearby park for the photos so there were no wedding attendee look-ee-loos. |

Friday, October 12, 2012 5:17:33 PM @patchgrabber: Maybe wedding photographer was a moron... maybe not. You probably have no idea what they're up against. Let me explain. IT'S LIKE HEARDING CATS! Keep in mind that this happens immediately after the ceremony when everybody that attended is trying to "go say hello" to all the people they haven't seen in ten years. The photographer has to get a nice, posed photo of: The bride by herself The bride and groom together The bride with her maid of honor The bride with all her brides maids The groom with his best man The groom with all the grooms men The bride, groom, brides maids and grooms men all together Bride with flower girl and/or ring bearer Bride and groom with brides parents Bride and groom with grooms parents Start adding siblings to each side Aunts, Uncles, Cousins to each side Then realise that every jackass with a camera phone is standing behind you snapping photos. Friday, October 12, 2012 1:11:44 PM I can actually relate to this. One of my good friends got married, and due to the photographer being a moron and other delays, the bride hadn't eaten all day, and after photos were finally done the wedding party stopped at a McDonalds so she could eat something, as the reception was another 30 min away. I did not feel classy being in that restaurant in a tux; it was weird. |
