Sunday, October 14, 2012 10:51:39 PM Brilliant! A folding computer! Now, if only they could make one that was portable... Jokes aside, that's rather nice handiwork there! |

Friday, October 12, 2012 9:02:32 PM Also, Mardie, I think his lumber stained very poorly; you'd have to look closely to see that it wasn't just a bad job. Some hardwood ply would indeed be more practical and better looking. |

Friday, October 12, 2012 7:09:31 PM It's a good enough concept, I suppose, but it's too short to use from the couch comfortably, the stain is painful to look and the layout seems weird. Where's the mouse space? |

Friday, October 12, 2012 5:32:35 PM I like it, i really do, but it would have been a lot better if the keyboard was on a surface that could be extended out so that it was right in front of you when you lay back on the couch |

Friday, October 12, 2012 4:45:15 PM I like the design, but I think it would be much more attractive, not to mention easier to build, if he used 3/4ths or even 5/8ths plywood. Using 2/6s makes it look very cluncky, like it belongs in a dorm room. |

Friday, October 12, 2012 4:32:21 PM waste of good timber. Re-design thing with higher legs for use as workshop bench. (unless you have a 500lb computer) |

Friday, October 12, 2012 3:05:01 PM "Good i guess, though he made an absolute mess of the staining" I completely agree with you but none the less I have met more than a few people with this like of very harshly and/or badly stained wood, 'Its looks old and tired' they chime. No it doesnt, it looks awful |

Friday, October 12, 2012 2:51:44 PM Pretty cool, I guess, but what's wrong with a normal table and a laptop? Slightly bigger monitor, but less maneuverable... meh. |

Friday, October 12, 2012 2:38:16 PM So how to improve a piece of technology that is known to overheat? Shove it all inside a block of insulating wood! I give that system 3months before something fries. |

Friday, October 12, 2012 1:38:06 PM "Keyboard is too low" The guy that made is uses a wireless keyboard and mouse. Sits on couch with mouse on armrest, keyboard in lap, and feet resting on ledge where key board is stored just below the monitor. |
