This is something I really didn't need to see ._. I don't drink soda anyway (besides ginger ale for an upset stomach) but I agree with the people who said this would probably happen in other liquids and it doesn't really indicate that mountain dew is bad for you, just that it's a bad idea to sit in a pool of mountain dew in a closed container for an extended period of time o.o |

Madison County, Illinois is ranked #5 as one of the worst judicial 'hellholes' in the nation. Link
The judges there are really screwed up, I used to live there and know this to be a fact.
Malpractice insurance is so high, there are only 13 doctors remaining in practice there.
People are sue happy in Madison Co. and there are more than enough lawyers willing to take the case and judges dumb enough to let them be heard. |

Kinda gross but not, as some will take it, evidence that Mountain Dew is bad for you. This is caused by the acidity. Mountain Dew has a pH of 3.22. Almost all fruit juices have a pH of under 4 so would have a similar effect. There's a reason why our stomachs are full of acid, it's really good at breaking tissue down. |

I don't think it is just soda. I think that the rat sitting in tap water for 30 days would be pretty messed up. I don't know for a fact, but based off of what bodies on law and order look like after being pulled out of the river.... |

Also the MD would have been pressurized in the can. Pressurized Carbon Dioxide is acidic which is why you feel a burn in your mouth when you drink it fresh and not when its flat. So carbonized MD would do a better job theoretical. |

thats really gross. i'll still drink mt dew though. just because it is capable of doing that doesnt make it a bad product. in fact i imagine almost any soda would do this. |
