Wednesday, October 10, 2012 2:51:19 PM Why are the north american ones upside down? I think the ground pin is supposed to be above the other 2 because it prevents things from falling across the prongs if the plug is hanging slightly out of the socket. Good example is the time I had a small metal pin on a window ledge with a socket below it and the pin rolled off and went between the plug and socket and was instantly welded against the 2 prongs lol. |
