Sunday, October 14, 2012 12:10:02 PM @godthaab, if you want to take two spaces, that's fine by me; just park at the far end of the lot. If I have to walk PAST a car taking two spaces, I may not key it, but I will hawk a big loogie on the windshield or the door handle. |

Sunday, October 14, 2012 10:53:58 AM The Grammar Nazi one I don't agree with. People need to learn to speak properly, being ignorant isn't something that should be applauded. Also the False Modesty one. Would they rather him be a dick about everything he's got? Otherwise pretty funny. |

Sunday, October 14, 2012 8:48:58 AM "I drive a fairly expensive car and I ALWAYS take up two spots. There have been times when I used one spot at the grocery store and come back to find my car scratched! (I am also a supporter of Proper English!)" There was a guy at work who always parked his "fairly nice car" car in two spots. We have very limited space so this really pissed me off. I left a note on his car that said, "Park in two spots again and I will key your car. It's just a Miata." He parked correctly after that. I doubt you will get a warning. You're just going to get keyed. |

Sunday, October 14, 2012 8:39:36 AM I've never had my car scratched in a parking spot, and I doubt many people have. Those who *do* get their cars scratched, I have to bet, are the ones taking up more than one sport, or driving like non-nice individuals. Just my guess as to the cause, however, as I realize that my personal experience is only anecdotal. |

Sunday, October 14, 2012 7:41:45 AM Another rant - I drive a fairly expensive car and I ALWAYS take up two spots. There have been times when I used one spot at the grocery store and come back to find my car scratched! (I am also a supporter of Proper English!) |

Saturday, October 13, 2012 6:41:39 PM I DETEST hearing "Me 'n' Joe went to the mall" or "We should of went to the beach" and other common misuses of the language. English speakers have more words at their disposal than people of any other tongue, and their language is more widely spoken than any other, yet they show their appreciation by mangling it regularly. I wouldn't point out an error in an inappropriate setting, but I have informed someone that "I seen something" is simply not correct. I suspect most people who use the term "grammar Nazi" are the worst offenders themselves. End of rant. 8-D |

Saturday, October 13, 2012 2:29:14 PM chalket, you're a little late with your retort -- sort of like Obama the day after his shellacking in his debate with Romney. |

Saturday, October 13, 2012 12:02:14 PM grammar has nothing to do with athletic skill. And that guy needs a third punch, he's wearing a sweater over his shoulders 80's preppy style. |
