pretty sure kid is alive because the kid's right hand has about 8 fingers, meaning it moved suring exposure. but Mr Munster is definately dead. |

It was pretty common for folks to take pictures with the body of a recently passed family member. Mr. Munster there is dead.

i dont think he is dead. you had to stay perfectly still for minutes and even then you get bad quality / distortions etc...
i may be wrong tho. |

Actually, in those days it was common when a family member died they would arrange them like this for a final photo. |

Exposures could last minutes or hours, in some cases. That's why eyeballs look white - few people could keep still long enough for the camera to finish. |
