@McGovern1981 Sorry the UK actually has a respectable minimum wage and doesn't tax waitresses so that they lose money if they don't tip. We tip when service is good as it should be. I actually currently reside in Sweden.
I also believe the general non governmental giving of European countries is more then in the USBut I should make a point the UK gives the most out of the G8 countries anyway |

@papajon0s1 Ehh most generous by huge margin :S Not really... Depends how you look at it but if you do it by % of GDP You're 19th I concede you give the most in cash. But who's more generous the man who has £20 and gives £10 to charity. Or the Man who has £100 and gives £15 to charity. Then also look into how much of that is on reconstruction aide from countries rightly or wrongly infrastructure was destroyed (Iraq & Afghanistan) So yeah I disagree with your claim |

I hate it when my government devalues my currency to the point where everyone becomes poor, and when they incur such a giant debt that they will condemn me and my children to conditions much of the "third" world has now.
By the way, the third world is quickly becoming an obsolete concept. Did you know Brazil is about to pass France in economic strength? Next stop, Germany. And it's not the only one. Most of these countries are living in better conditions than my grandparents did in depression-era North Dakota. Indeed, Indonesia's GDP per capita is the same as ours was back then. |
