Poor Sesame Street would have to rely solely on the billions of dollars in revenue its characters generate. What will they do without their federal dollars?!

If liberals really love PBS so much, why would they just stand by and watch them go under? Maybe it's time they upped their charitable contribution rate from 0.2% to 0.25%.

Sesame Street is going nowhere. If PBS loses funding, Nickelodeon, Disney, ABC, someone will pick up the show. It's a shame though, we waste so much money on useless crap that PBS would have to take a huge hit.

If Sesame Street was a person it'd be in the top 1%, because of the toy sales. I believe they can make it on their own.

The federal government only accounts for 10% - 15% of their funding. PBS can make up for that with more donations, they'll just have to work a little harder.

Link: This Is What Happens If Mitt Romney Wins [Pic] [Rate Link] - PBS loses all funding and everyone on Sesame Street is out of a job.
