Saturday, October 06, 2012 11:37:22 PM I just can't believe how little value companies put on these workers lives. I mean, if you're Apple, and you have this outsource company building your overpriced for fractions of pennies on the dollar, how do you not put those workers on a frickin' pedestal. Apple could drown them in rewards and swag and barely cut into their profits. They are the reason Apple is what it is, and they don't care. The comment that gets me most, though, is in the link. One guy is like, "If they don't like it, they can quit." But Googling it? If you work for Foxconn, you live in company housing. You answer to company police. I have a feeling quitting isn't a simple matter of going home and spending a week in your pajamas before going out on the job hunt. |

You think a company that is %20 the base of NASDAQ (Apple) would let out the fact that thier slave labor sweatshops are having a civil uprising? Wake up apple fanboys. Your coorperate god is EVIL |

Saturday, October 06, 2012 1:03:15 PM Everyone flips out if there's a minor defect on the phone or if the cost is too high. Well, this is what we get. Cheap high quality phones that causes the workers to lose their shi/t. |
