@ miasmaat i dont think it's that he's on drugs. perhaps that he has more weighing on his mind now then he did in the past
he seems much more somber in this interview.
i feel this is because with the stark realization of the price of fame, just how much of his life was under a microscope and how little control he had over that, hence when he said am i "that guy".
Dave said he was scared that if he had continued how he might end up. the uncertainty of such a thing is something it seems he wasnt willing to take a chance on

um... he does sound a bit like he's on drugs or a bit drunk. Slurring here and there. Not to say that the message isn't completely valid. Making some sense but not sounding completely straight. |
