There's cameras in all public areas the UK? I'm intrigued by this... Are the camera's erected and owned by local authorities or is it suggested/mandatory for businesses to have them outside?
The idea has potential, but if they are owned and operated by the local authorities I could see a common and mysterious loss of data when police misconduct or brutality was involved. |

When are you going to get rid of those leeches called the royal family and take down all the cameras in the UK? Or do you like that police nanny state abuse?
Why would we want to get rid of the Royals? I can't remember the last time one of them punched one of us in the face. And as for CCTV cameras: I kind of like them. Maybe you should try it before discounting the idea. Perhaps cowardly arseholes like the thug in this video would think twice if they knew their every public move was being watched on Candid Camera? But I doubt it. Your police have become used to getting away with abusing you, under the pretext of "protecting" you. And they'll continue to get away with it for years to come. Because you'll let them.
