I don't think referring to PB&J can be racist. It may be a little discriminatory if you have students from other countries, but this is a little ridiculous. |

Apparently, a school administrator in Oregon decided that referencing a PB&J as an example in class is discriminatory. She said, "What about Somali or Hispanic students, who might not eat sandwiches? Another way would be to say: 'Americans eat peanut butter and jelly, do you have anything like that?' Let them tell you. Maybe they eat torta. Or pita."
