I'm an introvert, but the recent trend of trying to glorify introverts is pretty silly.
I hate not being able to easily and comfortably express myself around groups of unfamiliar people. It's near crippling, and I fight back with alcohol. Which (somehow) only ever gives me mixed results. |

Being awkward and an introvert are separate issues.
An introvert is just someone that gets energized by alone time. Extroverts get energized by being around people.

introverts aren't people who enjoy being by themselves or doing their own private thing, it's people who can't find enjoyment from doing the opposite and are stuck with doing that. |
