We should stop slapping translations of things on products, I believe. Let's say I went to Italy to live there. I'd expect to have a very difficult time because I'd expect there to be nothing written in English. So I'd either learn real quick or go elsewhere. Besides.. for this picture and others with Spanish on them... Spanish seems so close to our language sometimes that I can get what is meant. Wouldn't it be about the same the other way? Also besides - About the imigrants/emigrants who come here for any length of time, usually their children/grandchildren know two+ languages, the one of their heritage and the one of this country. Seems to be working out without translations... |
