Wednesday, September 26, 2012 7:37:15 AM A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. - MY 2nd amendment right, and that's why YOU should never take that for granted, Americans. ---- That was in response to the AMerican Civil war. Trying to apply it to today is asinine. |

Wednesday, September 26, 2012 7:03:41 AM I really have a hard time believing this. Does anyone have any other sources? That doesn't look like a steamroller or a road flattening device to me. God I hope I'm right! |

Wednesday, September 26, 2012 6:40:28 AM Be wary of a government that starts pointing guns towards the people instead of away. But those are steamrollers! @drawman61 Yes and in the land of perfection it's not possible for it to happen to you. You have alot of examples I see... |

Wednesday, September 26, 2012 5:18:43 AM I was half expecting something not so serious. Sad that a country is willing to put such a small price on a life. laying all seriousness aside, I did manage to get my Douglas Adams moment for the day. |

Tuesday, September 25, 2012 10:51:32 PM "Does anyone out there think that Communism can work?" ---------------- to use the term "communism" today in the context of "china" is probably the biggest joke ever. |

Tuesday, September 25, 2012 10:10:35 PM @Jakk88: Having armed citizens helps deter a tyrannical government. You never know what your country will be like in 10, 20, or 50 years. Systems in government evolve and change, and not necessarily for the better. |

Tuesday, September 25, 2012 10:03:22 PM @ handimanner: "If true, both presidential candidates (and anyone else with money invested in China) should pull those funds in protest. Money is the only thing that power understands!" I do believe we are in debt to China for billions, if not trillions, of dollars. So there are no funds to pull out. We can only hope that China does not call us on our debt anytime soon. |

Tuesday, September 25, 2012 8:19:31 PM Diatribe cont.(lol) A central committe is rotated (gee, kinda like Europe) however the interests of the whole outweigh the greed of the few. Do CEOs deserve $250 mil to FAIL!! And then park the cash in an offshore account at 13% while college tuition goes through the roof and gas is $4 a gallon. Wake up people, it's gonna be a splash mountain slide to the bottom for the working class. |

Tuesday, September 25, 2012 8:10:38 PM Shelworth:Does anyone out there think that Communism can work? Yes, commune-alism can work. A starting point would recognize two things. 1: The true communist experience has NEVER been implemented in the modern world (if at all). Russia, China, Korea, all are/were hijacked by centralized government. Some would say that true commune-alism can't be attained because ego gets in the way. The cult of Mao is a good example of this. In Russia, Lenin was usurped by Stalin, but Beria (originally) had a truer Marxist doctrine. No matter, ego still gets in the way. 2: Capitalism is a failed experiment as well, it's just going to take another twenty years to prove it (4 more years of failed Demo ideas will lead to a political swing of 12-16 years (the money really has a leg by this time) of big business solidarity under moneyed Republican control. At this point there won't be a frikken Burger King job to sell your soul for. |

Tuesday, September 25, 2012 7:46:56 PM I am appalled if this is still going on. If true, both presidential candidates (and anyone else with money invested in China) should pull those funds in protest. Money is the only thing that power understands! |
