exactly this.
I never ever agree that the woman was ASKING for it because of what she wears, I'm just saying it HELPS the rapist.
Not just with the act (mini skirt doesn't leave much to pull up) but if it was between a woman with something more modest and a woman in a mini skirt... AS THE RAPIST... who would you pick to struggle with? |

The point is that rape is not necessarily the result of a woman's wardrobe choices - it happened even in the days of long skirts and buttoned up blouses. Even when a woman goes out dressed in that "fcuk me" look it's NOT an open invitation and having sex with her against her will is still rape.

But if I follow this protester's logic, what predates the miniskirt? Loin clothes? Nothing? So her argument is just dumb anyways. It's a failed attempt to argue something everyone who matters already believes. |
