The food! The only good thing about boot camp! Those ladies behind the counter were the only ones ever allowed to smile at us. Made a HUGE difference at the end of the day when that non-nice individual behind you wouldn't stop kicking you in the heels during marches and you wanted to kill him. |

We Canadians have a combined boot camp. About 1/2 was Airforce, 1/4 Army and 1/4 Navy. We were all burning in the same hellfire! But the food was terrific!
I made a tiny error: I was 143 comming out, gained 8 pounds of pure muscle! Never been as strong since, that's for sure. |

Yes I'm a boot-camp wash-out. Hey! I was 17, 6'0" and weiged 147 pounds (135 going in, I gained 12 pounds of muscle in 7 weeks), I really should have waited another year to join...
My Drill Sergent (Collins) fought at The Battle Of Kapyong in Korea. We didn't give him ANY guff!
