The judge in the case against James Holmes issued a ruling today for the court files to be open to the public. I would like to think with this info it will shut you conspiracy theorist nut balls up. But as always it won't. It's funny how you guys are so confident that he didn't do it when no one in the public has seen any of the evidence. |

Wiring his home had nothing to do with the murders.
Some people are batpoo crazy, sure. But it doesnt mean that they actually harmed anyone. There are plenty of people over america who live in trailers or self made homes, who booby trap their premises, and nothing is ever said about them.
The fact here is that a horrible act occured and they see him as a scapegoat, and the media latch on to it and persuade everyone of his guilt before any investigation or trail was even began. |

And no. There actually isnt any direct evidence. There were even witnesses who when questioned by the police, said that Holmes wasnt the attacker. Plus the only link to the crime scene was holmes was found half unconcious in his truck outside.
Even investigations have shown that theres no way he could have gotten from the crime scene to his vehicle in the timeframe that happened.
Yet still he goes on trial. |

In EU courts, you cannot be tried on circumstantial evidence. If it is found that the courts let it happen, the case automatically gets thrown out.
In the US, it doesnt. |

It's much easier to convict someone in European systems, so I'm not sure what you mean by "but it being the US justice system, its enough to get it into court and thats all that matters."
And people often confuse "circumstantial evidence" with "unreliable evidence." They aren't the same, and it is incredibly possible to convict someone beyond a reasonable doubt with only circumstantial evidence. In any case, there is plenty of direct evidence on this guy. |

Nope not nuts at all. There actually isnt any hard evidence at all. The most they have is circumstantial, but it being the US justice system, its enough to get it into court and thats all that matters.
Once in court, it's no longer about guilt or innocence. It becomes a game of who is the better lawyer. |
