VV @tiredofnicks: A bit of both actually. Since they are Japanese, Maru's owners are smaller than the average American, or European eh?
Maru is a "Scottish Fold" which is a stocky breed! But his ears aren't folded you say? WELL not all of them are, he's known as a "pointer" for his upright ears  |

@the_windy, I feel sorry for your kitty cats. Three of our four are just like this, and the fourth one is young and wily and still being worked with. She's about halfway there. |

Both of my last cats let me trim their nails. It was either that or they got caught momentarily on the carpet every step. They liked to get them trimmed when they got too long. You have to do it real fast though. These people took way too long. |

i used to be able to trim cat and dog nails while they are asleep. if you play with their paws while they are sleeping a lot when they are kittens and puppies, you can just wait til they fall asleep every time you want to trim the nails. |

This is not a real cat. I have 2, and neither are this calm while getting their nails trimmed. I have friends with cats, and theirs are the same way.
Mine have to be wrapped in a towel with their paw sticking out, and held down by another person. |

I love the way Maru videos are pretty much the antithesis of American home videos. There's never anyone being loud, brash or stating the obvious over and over again for no apparent reason. There's just Maru, Maru's hooman, and perfect silence. I approve. |

My cart its am indoor cat, and his scratching post works just fine, he has let me trim his claws before, but generally, I don't feel the need, just about everything I own us cat claw proof. |

As a general rule cats really don't like having their paws touched. I suspect Maru's been slipped a Mickey. |

@emmettyville: if you don't trim them, they turn into "razor-claws" which will shred everything you own, including your skin!
As long as they're indoor cats (like mine, and Maru) you gotta trim their claws!

ok, i'm convinced they drug that f ucking cat. his behavior is just too bizarre to be normal. Plus, why would you trim a cats claws? thats cruel. |
