For all the crap the guy took about being an uncoordinated bungler and a dim wit. (Chevy Chase SNL)
The guy played a hell of a game of football in his day as a lineman and helped Michigan to a couple of national titles. He also stood with his good friend and team mate when a rival school refused to play Michigan because said friend was black.
He also graduated in the top quarter of his class at Yale law school. |

ford got be president because he agreed to pardon tricky dick... and because of his ability to survive a fall down air force ones stairs.. nowhere near as bad as nixon who was only half as bad as regan but still a hundred times better than Either bush... whose only success was ducking a shoe... |
