So your excuse for such behavior is that if you stop you'll get ambushed? Of course you will, you're invading their country! If you weren't, they were not be trying to ambush you. And you talk about terrorists... It's funny.. There are so many countries in the world, and only the USA get bombed? I wonder why... They are all envy of you isn't it? Take a clue USA, the rest of the world doesn't have such problems. Maybe because we are not dicks trying to be the police of the world and invading everyone just because.

If you've never been in the military. If you have never been trained by your Government to defend. If you've never seen what an IED can do to a stationary target. My suggestion is go visit a VA hospital and talk to the men and women who've been through it. Ask them to view this video. After you hear their response then ask yourself this, would you do what you saw in the video, what the Government trains the brave men and women of our military to do or would you rather be a victim of a roadside IED or RPG. Easy for those who've never been in that situation to judge. Like it or not this SOP saves LIVES. Also it is NOT just Americans that drive like this over there. Every member of the Coalition has adopted this SOP. For all you non-military peoples that means Standard Operating Procedure! |

You mean how the car that was in front of the lead didn't explode so there isn't an IED directly in front of us? Man, how long did it take you to learn that warning sign sitting at your desk filing inventory reports? |

Bullies who are doing nothing in the way of constructive behaviour. As a 3 tour vet of Afghanistan, and partnered with US forces regularly, I'd have twatted the section commander of this patrol. There is no need. And before any civilian starts spouting about what they think they know about IEDs etc don't bother I know about the warning signs. This is typical, ignorant yank behaviour. |
