There was an old man in my best friends neighborhood that gave out free candy all of the time.
all we had to do is knock on his door and start a little conversation and out came the lollipops! One time he gave us an opened can of pepsi. We were thankful cause it was hot outside.

That mother called it, that's what they were' dirty old men' back then. We had one in our neighborhood. All the kids were warned not to go inside his house for any reason. If he had my dad would have beat him to death.

I remember that show. I went to see a taping of it at the studio in Toronto. I got to see myself on TV when they panned the audience at the end of the show. His wife also worked on air with him during the show. Looking back now I'm glad I wasn't a contestant!!! I couldn't finish the clip either. |

Identified! I just did a search on this. The show was called "Just Like Mom" and aired on Canadian television (CTV) from 1980 -1985. The creeptastic hosts name was Fergie Olver. |

Nobody called creepers out on their sh*t back then. I think the reason we are so good about cracking down on pedophiles now and warning kids about them is that a good percentage of people 40 and over were molested at some point in their childhood. |

I expected to watch this and think, "yeah, just different times, kinda like how seat belts were rarely worn, no such thing as car seats for kids, etc" ... no, I was wrong. This guys is absolutely a perv in any decade. |
