I vote for the man, not the party. Was plenty obvious Bush was retarded in 2000.

Well not believing me is certainly your right and does nothing but further show your ignorance. I'm guessing you probably served in the Jr ROTC or something and that's fine there's no shame in that.

So let's touch on some of what you said shall we? Never once did I put "party before country", that's been all you. Lips must be pretty sore by now I'm guessing when you pulled them away from Clinton's backside.

Never once did I put myself on any pedestal. Sorry to inform you but there wouldn't be any room for anyone else with your ego taking up all the space. I find it humorous that you sit there and trash someone simply because they disagree with your view of the world. But again it's funny reading what you type so it's all good.

I'm done with this conversation as there is no hope in you ever pulling your head out of the sand. Keep on insulting me though if it makes you feel good. I'll just read it and laugh like I have at everything else.

First of all I don't believe you're a veteran of war. I am a vet. Didn't serve during war because I'm not a liar. What did you sign up after 9/11? Whatever. Clinton is allowed to travel the world and was a highlight at the democratic convention. George Bush is a convicted war criminal and can't leave his prison (the united states) nor can he show his face at a republican event. Keep propping yourself up on that pedestal. You put party before country and as such became a traitor.

Awwww nice try there trying to make me angry. All you're doing is making me have pity for such a misguided soul madest. I will say this however...as a veteran who has been to war I know what death is and how it affects people madest...can you say the same? Or are you simply one of those idiots that thinks they can sit in front of the computer all day and because they know how to play Black Ops they know all there is to know about the world? Those spin doctors working for the democrats really got you drinking the kool-aid don't they?

BTW it's you who may as well claim responsibility for all those deaths by supporting a man who did jack poo aside from lob a few cruise missiles at empty targets and it may as well be you that bought the cigar right?

Yeah. I know how you feel. You voted for a retard and can't take it back. It was obvious when you heard him pronounce the word "nuclear" but you in your infinite wisdom voted for him anyway. Then again, after it was evident that he lied about the reasons for war you did it again. You are to blame for everything that he messed up. You're partly responsible for every American death in Iraq. Sucks to be you. Enjoy the next 4-1/2 years of Obama douchebag.

And lets not forget that Clinton was offered on 3 different occasions help to get Bin Laden and refused. But you'll gloss over all his mistakes and screwups to suck on his jockstrap right? I never once said Bush did any better. Again, sounding like a broken record....I suggest you read.

1993 World Trade Center Bombing-
6 dead, over 1000 wounder
Response-Did not even acknowledge the attack until the next day and then only for 70 seconds in a radio broadcast.
1993 Somalia-
18 American soldiers killed
Response-President Clinton aborted the mission. The U.S. released the criminals it had captured that same day at such great cost, and the U.N., lacking U.S. support, was powerless to keep order.
1995 Riyadh U.S. Miitary HQ Bombing
1996 Khobar Towers Bombing
19 dead, 386 wounded
Response-FBI had to get former President Bush to intercede with the Saudi's to gain access to witnesses and suspects during the investigation.

I can go on and on. I'll go a step further and say that there has yet to be a true definitive response that has been effective against terrorism. Sad really that the FBI couldn't count on him and needed Bush Sr to help them with the Saudi's in 1996. Again madest, reading can really help you

Nothing you said diminishes Clinton. So he knew a law giving police the right to stop people for what they looked like would be deemed unconstitutional and that made him bad? He didn't want sanctions to impede businesses like the Koch Industries and Halliburton? Ouch. They did business with Iran when we had sanctions on them anyway. You're not helping your case. 9/11 happened 8 months into GWB's term. The facts are he ignored the CIA's threat assessment and ultimately went to war with an unrelated country. It took another democrat to get Bin Laden.

When legislation was proposed to cripple Iranian funding of terrorism by mandating U.S. retaliation against companies that aided its oil industry, the administration first threatened to veto it unless the president were allowed to waive sanctions, then blocked sanctions in virtually every case after the legislation was passed.

When Clinton was advised to pass a law requiring that driver's licenses for aliens expire when their visas do (so that a routine traffic stop could trigger the deportation process), the White House rejected the idea on the grounds that it would constitute racial profiling.

Clinton refused to establish a "president's list" of seemingly charitable groups that were in fact fund-raising fronts for terrorists.

Despite staff recommendations that he require baggage X-ray screening at airports, federalization of air security and restoration of air marshals to commercial flights, Mr. Clinton did nothing to imple

Yeah DJ, Nice spin on the after effects. Clinton didn't seem to concerned about Vietnam when he went to war in Serbia. You can completely ignore the "wag the dog" scenario, however it makes you a partisan douche. The truth is George Bush was warned several times about al Queda attacking in the US. The dummy couldn't be bothered to read the PDBs himself they needed them to be read to him. He was what you'd call a functional retard. You probably voted for him twice which says a lot about your intelligence as well.

Dick Morris was one of Clinton's top political strategists. He was asked once about Clinton's lack of tougher action against terrorism.

“He had almost an allergy to using people in uniform,He was terrified of incurring casualties; the lessons of Vietnam were ingrained far too deeply in him. He lacked a faith that it would work, and I think he was constantly fearful of reprisals. On another level, I just don’t think it was his thing,” Morris says. “You could talk to him about income redistribution and he would talk to you for hours and hours. Talk to him about terrorism, and all you’d get was a series of grunts.”

Again, I suggest reading rather than talking out your backside madest.

And yes, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya - all bad. Hell, maybe even Bosnia was bad too. We can't pick and choose where to intervene really. We have to make a firm choice and the best choice is to return to pre-1945 American rules. No intervention. Not even like in Bosnia.

I'm tired of this Republicans vs. Democrat bullpoo. "Bush was to blame for 9/11"...."Democrats make us safer".

No. There are good democrats and bad ones, as there are good republicans and bad.

If George Bush is to blame for 9/11, Bill Clinton is certainly also to blame. Not only for the actually planning - but for not apprehending or killing Bin Laden on multiple occasions. But I truly blame neither. We have hindsight.

By the way, here are some of the attacks before 9/11. The 90's were not so peaceful. And this doesn't even count the USS Cole and the embassy attacks in Kenya and Tanzania. Did you all remember the first Empire State Building shooter was a Palestinian nationalist?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terrorism_in_the_United_States#1990s

But I blame no one for most of thes

djwajda, I hope your penis is longer than your memory because I seem to recall republicans accusing Clinton of wagging the dog on his 98 attack on al Qaeda. Now you're blaming him of not doing enough. Hypocrisy is not a virtue.

I might suggest that those here that are so fiercely defending how Dems have handled terrorism do some real research into how Clinton failed to handle terrorism correctly. Now I'm not saying Bush handled it all that much better leading into 9/11 either but Clinton actually did much less.

"So, you're saying that al Qaeda didn't start planning 9/11 until January 2001? Do you want to go with that, or would you like another try?"

I'm not saying that and you know it. I'm saying that the war mentality that the Bush administration brought with them ignored the realities of how to recognize and fight an ideological enemy. I'm not saying that they could have stopped 9/11 or that the Al Qaida planning didn't start under Clinton's term. I'm saying the war mentality may have caused the Bush administration to ignore certain warnings intelligence brought that may have prevented 9/11. I'm certainly not one of those conspiracy theorists that think they ignored the warnings on purpose. Those people are nuts.

Not saying that at all. They're saying the CIA knew BL was trying to attack and they tried to inform Bush but he was busy choking on pretzels and crashing Segways. Your leader and I suspect your mental equivalent, OldOllie.

Out of all the 9/11 jokes and submissions that have been posted this is easily the funniest and least offensive.

"Yeah, and how did that work out?"

Pretty well actually until the neo-cons got back in and went right back to war mode from day one. An ideology is not a country that can be invaded.
