Yes when it comes to the natural nutrition of the plant. I didn't even know anyone made that argument. I prefer not to eat pesticides and carcinogens nor have them seep into the ground water.

What? How could something grown with no pesticides not be healthier than something grown with pesticides? Or is that no longer a rule with organic food?

Not pointless if you're trying to avoid pesticides and care about taste. Grocery store produce is terrible.
