I don't really understand the point of paralympics. Having disabled people compete against each other instead of going against regular people just seems like segregation to me. |

Nice! I admit I didn't watch the Paralympics before, but I have really got into it now.
@LordJim: Americans only like things they do well in. That is why they like American Football and Baseball so much... Superbowl and World Series is just them and Canada.

Best Paralympics ever. They are not just good, 'bearing in mind their disabilities'. They are just plain better, faster, stronger than any of us will ever be.
I like to think of myself as a cynic and I wasn't all that about it, but I am totally caught up in it now. Why on earth is US TV ignoring it? |
