Come on! If he wanted to commit he would've ran faster than that. I love how the driver was having none of it and told him to be on his way, should've let him call the police though. |

Yeah. Instead of telling him right off the bat that I had a dash cam, I think I would have just let him call the cops, let him give the cops his story, and then be all like "Okay, let's see what the video shows". Then let HIM get arrested for insurance fraud. Seriously, people like this need to be taken off the street. This is why insurance costs so much. |

Such things appear to be common these days: the "victem" probably intended to extort money "on the spot" in return for not calling the cops.
Odd that there wasn't a 'witness' ie: a partner to the victem to lever more pressure on the driver...

When he jumped onto the hood, the driver should have floored it and just kept driving till they were out of town on some desolate stretch of highway, and then slammed on the brakes at about 80 mph. |

i woulda switched off the cam, gave him a beating for denting my car, and say the injuries were caused my him jumping on my car/falling on the floor lol |
