The caption could easily have worked just as well if it were a white guy behind it, the fact is however we don't have any pictures of white guys behind a TV while there's a cute girl in lingerie standing in the same room. While I wouldn't say the caption is inherently racist, it could be seen as being so. |

seeing an image of a black guy and assuming it's about theft is racist
seeing an image with a caption about theft and assuming it's because the guy is black is racist
you guys that are crying racism fall into the second category here...the guy could be any colour and the caption could still fit, so fancy doesn't necessarily fall in the first
just take the joke and stop interpreting the most boring scenario of what's really happening (and then the same people complain about being bored)
