It's a trick they play on tourists. First the mahout has the elephant stand on his back to prove how safe it is, then they ask the audience for a volunteer. They choose the biggest young macho smartass and have him lie down. The elephant suddenly pulls down his shortsand the tourists all crack up laughing and take embarrassing pictures while the elephant has him pinned down. Kid then spends the rest of the vacation trying to live it down. |
