@SethDog--here, college comes after high school. A university is an institution containing multiple colleges, for example: a business college, an engineering college, a liberal arts college, and so on. So there are times when someone who wants to become a doctor or lawyer or something will go from a college to a university that contains a college for their professional degree. |

Okay so can one of you good chaps from the USA explain what college is there? Is it similar to university or like some sort of pre-uni preperation? Here college is the same as high school (year 9 - 13). But I have seen american movies where people go from high school to college to university? |
