Essentially, they get paid on the same basis as non-porn film work - how many sales the employer thinks they will add.
So a newcomer will probably be paid partly on what they do and partly on how many customers the pornographer thinks their appearance, body language, voice, etc, will attract. Sex appeal is very far from just being looks. It'll probably be a pre-agreed sum for specific acts, but not necessarily a straightforward $x for a specific sex act for everyone.
After they've done some work, that'll affect what they get paid. If hordes of customers are searching the internet for more vids with one hand in their pants and a credit card in the other hand, it's super extra money time.
Put bluntly, it's about what customers want to wank over, not about looks. Looks are a part of sex appeal, but only part. |

Interesting how few of those people are actually good looking. i don't know much about porn- never really seen more than the odd clip - so- do they earn money for what they do rather than how they look? Always wondered how safe some thing I have heard about are if you do them a lot- things like fistulas etc?
