Sunday, August 26, 2012 10:12:41 AM JT: Bain never outsourced one job while he was at Bain. Not one! Just because someone at Bain did, long after Romney had gone, doesn't mean Romney had anything to do with it. |

Bragging? Sounded like he was simply reporting what he saw at a factory in China. Caption FAIL |

Sunday, August 26, 2012 8:00:01 AM @andybme: Kinda confirms the fact that he did ship American jobs to China and even shopped for factories to buy to send them to. How do you figure? The factory was in China to begin with. *IF* he ended up buying it, then the factory stayed in China. Jobs weren't shipped anywhere as a result of his assumed purchase; they stayed put. @VirtualParty: Do you understand was the word 'slave' means and implies? By Romney's statements, we find that these women are both given wages, and strongly desire their environments. Next time you think about calling me out for something, just stop, think, and then don't. |

Sunday, August 26, 2012 6:32:59 AM I'm not a Romney fan either, but he obviously wasn't bragging about purchasing the factory. He was making a point of how good we have it in the west. It was actually a very poignant anecdote. |

Sunday, August 26, 2012 1:02:12 AM so basicly, saying it is worse in some countries equals saying it is good in america? wow.. i must be Very rich cause i saw a documentary about a family in africa that didnt have running water. i totaly understand now why the idea is to take away from the rich lower classes. not really sure why to give it to the richer upper classes though but that should probably be normal, i mean, i wasnt smart enough to see how incredibly rich americans are, even at the bottem. |

Sunday, August 26, 2012 12:02:16 AM Soooooo... Where does the bragging part come in? It seems to me like he was actually trying to point out how good we have it here. I'm not a huge Romney fan, but I have to defend him here. I think some idiots are taking this the wrong way. If you are one of those idiots, then please do not vote, FOR ANY CANDIDATE. |

Sunday, August 26, 2012 12:01:58 AM "I do not believe that the capitalists and the landlords are all exploiters by an inherent necessity or that there is a basic or irreconcilable antagonism between their interests and those of the masses. All exploitation is based on co-operation, willing or forced, of the exploited. However much we may detest admitting it, the fact remains that there would be no exploitation if people refuse to obey the exploiter." - Gandhi |

Saturday, August 25, 2012 10:56:53 PM I believe this post should relieve Madest of any intellectual credence he might have had up to this point. In the words of that great American philosopher Billy Preston, "Nothin' from nothin' leaves nothin.'" |

Saturday, August 25, 2012 9:50:55 PM I believe this post should relieve Madest of any intellectual credence he might have had up to this point. His silence on this thread is testament to his blindness to the facts. Next stop, Romney gives us the synopsis Of Schindler's List and is accused of the holocaust. |

Saturday, August 25, 2012 9:24:01 PM In impressed. The only person without a brain in this whole conversation is the one who started it. Kudos to A-I-Bers (less Madest of course). |

Saturday, August 25, 2012 8:04:06 PM So, by madest's logic, witnessing a car accident is the same as being in the accident... No, by madest's logic, witnessing a car accident is the same as causing the accident, pissing on the injured, and then setting the leaking gas tank on fire. |

Saturday, August 25, 2012 7:13:44 PM VirtualParty. Where does it say he -bought- the factory? He said that they went there to -buy- the factory, which, does not mean that they -bought- it. Are people who wear blue ties so bitter that they come to conclusions when LITERALLY no proof to said conclusions are present? Plus, as someone else said, would you rather these women not make any wages at all? |

Saturday, August 25, 2012 6:44:11 PM HumanAction were you even paying attention? He said they -bought- the factory, visa vie, they were slaves in part to him. Were we even watching the same video? Are people who wear red ties so blind that they must LITERALLY ignore proof when it's being shoved in their faces? |

Saturday, August 25, 2012 4:19:10 PM This footage is neither here nor there. I'm not sure what the poster is trying to say with this. I'VE seen specials on chinese factories on discovery channel. Nothing much else seems to be said here (and I am ANTI Romney so i was LOOKING for it) |
