Friday, August 24, 2012 10:11:56 PM Yup, because expressing your opinion gets you arrested. Seriously, if he said the Pope raped babies he's entitled to say it and be criticized for it. Yet saying building 7 was demolished means he goes to a Psikhushka |

Thursday, August 23, 2012 2:52:34 PM I post very similar things everyday. What this man wrote on his facebook page, minus the conspiracy theories on 9/11, were well thought and well written thoughts on our country. He is not being detained legally, the state he was picked up in has laws no different than other states in respect to psychological evaluations and the length of time they are legally allowed to hold someone. If this gentleman has PTSD then he can be treated without forcibly institutionalizing |

Thursday, August 23, 2012 10:16:03 AM @Zeegrr60: Yeah, my field will be mainly in Norway, but I studied the same conventions and case law as Obama once did on international law. Wonder where his soul went... |

Thursday, August 23, 2012 7:07:30 AM Whenever someone mentions the Patriot Act, I always think of Sinclair Lewis' famous quote: "When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the American flag, whistling "The Star Spangled Banner". |

Thursday, August 23, 2012 6:51:32 AM Ah, to think Nazi America is here. Taken away...No warrant,no charges...Just taken. George Bushs "Patriot" act strikes again. Maybe we NEED a revolution. |

Thursday, August 23, 2012 4:57:34 AM @Madest -- do you even know what PTSD is? His actions sound NOTHING like the symptoms of PTSD. It sounds more like a psychotic disorder. |

Wednesday, August 22, 2012 8:55:46 PM There's no such thing as a "former Marine". Once a Marine, always a Marine. Gah. |

Wednesday, August 22, 2012 8:44:20 PM i just love to hear about people getting in trouble for something they posted on a social networking site. it is funny how they always seem surprised, like because it is on the internet it somehow shouldn't be held against them. |

Wednesday, August 22, 2012 6:59:35 PM Yeah I did. Did you notice the "former" Marine part Scuzoid? I suspect that means he was once a Marine who was untreated for PTSD and the crazy Facebook comments forced the issue of treating the guy... Wow did I really have to explain that? |

Wednesday, August 22, 2012 6:40:41 PM Did you read what you typed before you posted it Madest? I mean, military takes him into custody for what appears to be PTSD, but man does the military suck at helping people with PTSD.....? |

Wednesday, August 22, 2012 6:20:12 PM Brandon Raub sounds like he could be suffering from PTSD which is known to make seemingly "sane" people crazy. Unfortunately our military has a horrible history in dealing with PTSD and in most cases expect them to simply shake it off. This kid is going to be treated now and someday he'll be back on some interview show talking about how messed up he was. The interviewer is retarded. |

Wednesday, August 22, 2012 5:52:30 PM To anyone who has a problem with this, go read some of the posts from this guy's facebook page. He's a complete nut and conspiracy theorist, and frequently espouses how he's going to "start a revolution." If this guy had gone postal on a crowd of people, we'd all look back and say "Yeah, all the warning signs were there." |

Wednesday, August 22, 2012 4:48:34 PM With the rate of suicide and a couple of incidents of soldiers running amok in the news over the last couple of years -- yes! People are reading soldiers' Facebook pages. If there is a specific charge of invasion of privacy, THAT should be examined. This is polemic, not journalism. |

Wednesday, August 22, 2012 4:36:44 PM @SmagBoy: Obama's Attorney General listed "returning veterans" as POTENTIAL TERRORISTS ok? Obama's people have long hated the military, any excuse will do! |

Wednesday, August 22, 2012 4:12:01 PM I stopped after about 1/2 way through the video and read the attached article. At no point did they say what was posted on his facebook page. I'm assuming the police/fbi were justified in their actions until i hear otherwise. |
