If it were a man, noone would have a problem. Some females nowadays think they can say or do anything they want until they find out they really can't. Don't want to be treated like a dumbass, don't act like one. No sympathy for her. He shouldn't have been fired. |

she got what she deserved. she was drunk and not following orders. when a cop tells you to remain in your car and you dont its a sign of defiance and possibly positioning for aggression. it is for the cops safety that you remain in the car until asked to step out.
was he a little over the top? yes. but fired? no, should be a suspension at most. |

After seeing the raw dash cam, I'm going with they both did wrong. He was too aggressive with her, and she was being a dumb bitch. HOWEVER... he has a badge and should know better. IMO he was correctly fired, but I don't think the battery should or will stick. |

How come we expect cops to never get frustrated or lose their cool? That girl was refusing to listen; while she didn't appear to be a real threat, she could've had a gun. Cops have to treat everyone like the lowest common denominator, and expect the worst or they die. Plus, I think she tripped on the curb. |

Oh, the dash cams are there alright. It's the tape that mysteriously disappears, or gets erased or taped over.
Actually, one I read or heard about recently the cop tried to erase it but they had some method in place that protects the deleted content so it can be recovered and the cop got busted. Hopefully that becomes standard. |

She was drunk, mouthy and un-cooperative BUT did not deserve to be treated like that. Same for guys. |
