There are different kinds: Statutory rape, which may not be forcible, date rape, spousal rape, gang rape and the old Prostitute-paid-with-conterfeit-money and realizes 'I was raped' when she tries to put it in the bank.

Graduates from Public Schools have no idea how to make change. Any employer who hires a graduate from a public high school has to train the kid to do the most basic things.

Exactly. Just because he forgot to say "alone" this time doesn't mean he didn't men it. The conservatives are using this as part of their campaign. So basically a large chunk of their campaign is built on a lie. |

The thing that perturbed everone is I pointed out that Lib stupid statements and Conservative stupid statements do not get treated the same. Had Biden said what Akin had said, he would have been given the chance to 'clarify'. Or he could claim he 'misspoke' and all would be forgiven by the press. |

I don't think anyone should forgive him. Personaly I never got the hang of forgiving but I'm pretty sure it's up to the injured party. So until pregnant rape victims denied abortions say they forgive him nobody else gets to. |

Obama's speech was no different than Mitt's speech to Olympians,

Mitt using Obama's words out of context after saying pretty much the exact same thing at the 2002 Olympics just shows what a lying skumbag he really is on the inside. |

I agree with that. I also see nothing wrong with that. What is wrong with letting the teacher, or the construction worker, or the policeman feel pride and ownership in the businesses in their community? A sense that everyone helps? Not everybody creates a business. Some need to do all the other jobs that support our society. Can't everyone have a sense of pride?

Business taxes aren't the only taxes. There are income taxes and sales taxes and registration fees. Private citizens pay for the roads as well.

Are you kidding me? You don't think context matters? Context ALWAYS matters. We aren't talking about Biden's quote which is idiotic, or Hillary's quote which was a lie and then they tried to say what they MEANT afterward which is bulls.hit. We're talking about what he ACTUALLY SAID.
Example of context:
I believe in Euthanasia. I support everyone's decision to end their own life. If you were suffering from an incurable disease and asked for my help ending your suffering as painlessly as possible, I will help. I will kill you.
Is that the same as saying: I will kill you? Because according to you putting it in with the rest of the sentence doesn't make it any better. |

That isn't what I took from it. I took that he was saying businesses wouldn't exist without the community. I think there should be civic pride in the businesses in your town. I take pride in supporting local businesses.
