Not true at all. I just pumped 3 containers of gas at a brand new get-go where I live and there is no "compression" needed for the handle to be squeezed and gas to start flowing. For compression to occur you first need something to be air tight which would make it impossible to fill a gas container wouldn't it... |

Best guess is she's just finished filling up and pulled the nozzle out - there's usually still a bit of fuel left in the nozzle, especially if you've completely filled the tank. |

Was about to say the same as patch. Modern cars and even pump nozzles will not allow you to remove while in use, or use when not in a container or vehicle. |

I guess it's possible that's just her taking the nozzle out, perhaps while still pressing the trigger? I can't imagine anyone doing it this way, it wouldn't even work on most modern cars. |
