Tuesday, August 21, 2012 12:23:55 AM How the hell what?! It seems pretty obvious. Perhaps I lack the understanding of how technically challenging this BS is. All I know is I watched this and it increased my boredom. |

Monday, August 20, 2012 10:51:18 PM I would have liked to see them put a puppy or kitten in the roosterpit. Now that would be some excitement. |

Monday, August 20, 2012 8:42:06 PM It is possible to build a vertical take-off airplane. However, there are issues of scale, so they don't look quite like that model. |

Monday, August 20, 2012 3:52:34 PM "How in the hell....?" As Altair said, power to weight ratio from a propeller that cannot safely be duplicated in a real world application. The pilot would die rather quickly if he was flying something that powerful. Although, I imagine they could work out how to make a real full sized prop plane to a tail stand like that. Cost and "Why would you want to" figures in though. |

Monday, August 20, 2012 3:02:22 PM You can't see it, but the planes have propellers in front, they are spinning too fast though. That how they can just "stand" in the air. |

Monday, August 20, 2012 2:32:08 PM Two PHYSICS issue with real plane versions of most of these stunts... 1: Thrust to weight ratio: no way lighten plane enough to provide enough engine power while still providing structural integrity for 2: G-Force tolerance. Scale that plane up to some REAL weight and the g-forces exerted are more than the materials can handle. Fun to watch though! |

Monday, August 20, 2012 2:00:54 PM Eh, I'd prefer see real pilots do this in real planes. |

Monday, August 20, 2012 1:53:22 PM I don't think I can call that thing a "model" airplane. It's like the size of a smart car. |
