seems the audience is enjoying it and Peter Kaye is fairly well regarded for his routines, cant help thinking ElMustache sounds like a bitter failed comedian unhappy at another mans success

Way to start a flame war ElMustache. Being a non-comedian i laugh at things that make me laugh. This was funny as heck. Being a comedian you think you'd have a sense of humour but really your just bitter inside. Go away. |

I watched the whole stand-up the other night and i must say, this was my least favorite bit. That said, it was a good show, i usually find Kay a bit hit and miss but this was top notch. |

@Darkmagic: I'm aware of observational humor, and I've never found Seinfeld all that funny either. Like I said, it's lazy. Turning on the radio and using misheard lyrics is really easy. |

observational comedy is a form of standup, and some comedians make a killing on it (come to think of it, MOST comedians now a days do purely observational humor). look at jerry seinfeld, he's probably the most noted for doing observational comedy, "whats the deal with airplane peanuts?" |
