Saturday, August 18, 2012 10:18:12 PM Eh, I worked at Daiquiri's n' cream in Louisiana, which is a drive-thru daiquiri bar; in alabama they have drive-thru liquor stores too. We drink alot down here, and during times like Mardi Gras; it's actually really convenient when parades are all over and you don't have time to sit and wait in a smelly bar. The key is to not be a idiot and wait till you get home to drink it. |

Saturday, August 18, 2012 5:30:33 PM Yeah like Deathcab said, in New Orleans these are everywhere. It's a normal cup and straw combo like that at a fast food joint and you get away with not having an open container as long as you don't put your straw in it until you get out the car. They also sell gallons for your convenience :) |

Saturday, August 18, 2012 1:08:17 PM They do have alcohol and it's only allowed in certain counties in certain states. They serve it to you in a tupperware-like cup that has a lid which contains no strawhole/sip spot/etc. Here in Denver there are drive-thru liquor stores. |

Saturday, August 18, 2012 12:35:16 PM "How exactly can you buy one without violating open container laws?" I have no idea where this drive-thru supposedly is, if it's actually alcoholic and open containers and all, but not every state has the same open container law. For example, in North Carolina (or parts of it, I don't know if it's a county thing), the passengers CAN have open containers and be actively drinking....just the driver can't. |
