See http://www.badastronomy.com/bad/misc/hoa... for a thorough debunking, but basically the problem here is that they've taken a low-quality image, run it through a bunch of processing (likely selected to make it look more like a face), and now claim that it looks even more like a face, and therefore must be a made structure. More recent (and therefore higher-quality) images of the same feature bear far less resemblence to a face at all. |

i'd like to be the first to say how full of crap this link was. i see sites like this all the time... the creators of it add "scientific" hogwash and mumbo jumbo to it to make it sound like it must be true- but in reality, what they have said makes no sense. realated sites include sites proving area 51 exists and sites pinpointing atlantis. now, when i first got to this site, i thought it may have been a joke- in which case i apologize ahead of time for my lack of humor. but this is simply illogical---they don't even have any sources listed. |
